[A regrettable office cartoon]

i don't know how its possible to land the same joke this many times but i think visually grotesque characters shouting obscenities and doing crazy edgy things was something i could appreciate more when this type of stuff was novel in the early 2010s. there's never an ounce of sincerity or artistic value in these. it just feels like cartoon junk food; digestible and easily pumped-out content disguised as indie and alternative. even though your original work still follows the same joke formula that your parodies do, i at least feel like i'm watching something that isn't completely fabricated. i honestly implore you to work more on original stuff that challenges your sense of writing and/or art direction.

I was honestly pretty surprised when I saw this. Really well done. When I saw Eric announced on my twitter almost a year ago, I didn't think much of it. When I saw the intro a few months ago, I was pretty excited despite expecting a standard webtoon that would probably make me laugh like once or something. Finally watched it today with some friends and it was a strangely memorable experience. The writing, audio, and visuals were all sick. I was never bored while watching and every joke landed. You even managed to pull off tropes that other cartoons fail at all the time (like the whole anime sequence). It never feels too edgy or mean-spirited and it's got this novel quirkiness to it that I feel like a lot of stuff is missing nowadays. I'd say my only criticism is to keep the animation a little more consistent, but I barely cared while watching because I was genuinely interested in what was happening. Keep up the good work and kudos to all of you!

This needs to be fine tuned. I can give this a little bit of credit for its duration of seven minutes, but there's a lot of things that need to be fixed. Cleanup on the lines would definitely do some good since there are quite a few of them overlapping each other. The expressions were fine and I think if you work on them more you can get them to look really nice, but the backgrounds looked really shoddy. The pacing in this was pretty odd; at some points characters would pause speaking for five seconds and you'd think it would lead up to a joke but most of the times it was just waiting for the other character to speak. I think that was the most detrimental flaw to this cartoon. The script was decent and the voice acting wasn't that bad (except cloudy at sometimes), but don't take this review the wrong way because I truly believe that this show can grow if you keep putting more time into it. I see some potential in this so keep workin' hard.

I think your drawings are nice but you should do more frame by frame and less motion tweens. Work the animation more and you'll go farther in the animation game babyyyyyy :)
